Enermax Aurora Micro Aluminum Keyboard

Posted by admin On June - 25 - 2009

Enermax Aurora Micro Aluminum KeyboardSome users just like really tiny keybaords. Personally I am an ergonominc fan, so the wider my hands can be apart, the better. For those who like tiny keyboards (programmers love them for some odd reason), then you’ll be glad to know that there’s finally one that’s built like a tank: the Enermax Aurora Micro. This review was actually written using this keyboard entirely, in addition to some all-day testing.

At first look, the keyboard is very attractive. While the bottom of the keyboard is a sturdy plastic, the top frame is brushed aluminum, which has been anodized pitch black.

I-Rocks KR-6820E Backlit Gaming Keyboard

Posted by admin On June - 22 - 2009

I-Rocks KR-6820E Backlit Gaming KeyboardIn the end this little keyboard exceeded my expectations. The construction is very solid, the orange backlighting looks awesome, and it has a nearly full 103-key lineup so it’s perfect for just about any task. Gaming is what it’s designed for and it works great for that, but the soft and quiet keys also work well for general computer use.

Microsoft SideWinder X3 Gaming Mouse Review

Posted by admin On May - 6 - 2009

Microsoft SideWinder X3 Gaming Mouse ReviewGaming mice tend to be expensive if you go with high-end products. The problem with high-end gaming mice is that they are almost exclusively right hand only designs meaning that left-handed gamers are left out. With the current economy many gamers simply don’t have the money to spend on a mouse that costs nearly $100 like the Microsoft X8 or the Logitech G9. Today we are going to look at the latest gaming mouse from Microsoft called the Sidewinder X3. The mouse carries a budget price tag but still promises to deliver gaming performance. Read on for all of the Microsoft SideWinder X3 gaming mouse details.

SteelSeries World of Warcraft Mouse

Posted by admin On May - 5 - 2009

SteelSeries World of Warcraft MouseI think it’s pretty cool when a game designer hooks up with a hardware designer to create a device whose sole purpose is a single game. Blizzard and SteelSeries have gotten together to create a mouse dedicated for MMORPGs, namely World of Warcraft. But what could a simple mouse offer the hardcore WoW gamer? Not a damned thing. Good thing this is no ordinary mouse. It’s a button-hoarding monster that holds nothing back when it comes to options. It even has a useless flashing light inside. Read on, my friends. It only gets better…

Razer Arctosa Keyboard

Posted by admin On May - 5 - 2009

Razer Arctosa KeyboardRazer is a company that began by producing high-end gaming mice like the Copperhead and since that point they have ventured into other gaming products like high-end sound cards, headphones, and mouse pads. Back in 2006 we looked at the Razer Tarantula, but the Arctosa has now succeeded that gaming keyboard. The Razer Arctosa is a moderately priced gaming keyboard that offers macro keys, media keys, 1000Hz Ultrapolling, and other features to entice gamers. The big question though is how well this keyboard with all of its functionality works under Linux.

OCZ Behemoth Laser Gaming Mouse

Posted by admin On April - 29 - 2009

OCZ Behemoth Laser Gaming MouseLast year we reviewed the OCZ Alchemy Elixir, which was the first keyboard we looked at from this company that once was just known for their system memory and power supplies but since have ventured into all sorts of gaming products. The OCZ Alchemy Elixir was a nice keyboard, but now joining their peripherals line-up is the OCZ Behemoth — a laser gaming mouse with a 4-way LED display, 18 grams worth of customizable weights, and an adjustable DPI sensor.

Microsoft Sidewinder X8 BlueTrack Gaming Mouse Review

Posted by admin On April - 9 - 2009

Microsoft Sidewinder X8 BlueTrack Gaming Mouse ReviewTry and try again must be Microsoft’s motto when it comes to gaming mouse design. First, they brought us the original Microsoft Sidewinder Gaming Mouse which had looks that killed, but ergonomics that killed your hand. Next, they came up with the Sidewinder X5 which took many of the criticisms turned them into improvements. Still not perfect, but at least it appears someone was listening. That’s why I’m optimistic, yet cautious about their latest product: The Microsoft Sidewinder X8 Wireless Gaming Mouse.

Saitek Cyborg Force Rumble Gamepad Review

Posted by admin On April - 7 - 2009

Saitek Cyborg Force Rumble Gamepad ReviewA month ago I publish an article about how much I suck at using PC Gamepads, and I end up having to review a gamepad? I must have angered the gods somehow, because now I have to not only write about my own personal Kryptonite, I also have to touch it. To inspect it. To actually use it. How did I get roped into something like this? Because I was offered unlimited use of the OCMS company car. How could I possibly turn down a semi-new Datsun?

Saitek has come out with a gamepad supposedly worthy enough to bring a challenge to my distaste. It’s called the Cyborg Force Rumble. It transforms. It rumbles. It has one-touch FPS mode ready to rock. But don’t let my endless rambling give away all the details.
