In Win Dragon Rider Full Tower Chassis

In Win Dragon Rider Full Tower Chassis

In Win and their products have featured here at eTeknix only the once, but even then we were quite keen to sing their praises. Sure there were some niggly little faults but we did have a pre-production version so we expect little gripes to pop up from time to time. When you look at the product range from In Win, you will most likely have no clear comparison in your head of what their cases rival as they are very different and step out of the box with their unique styling and features, yet still put up a fight to some of the big brands that are holding the market well.

The Dragon Rider is considered the bigger brother to the Dragon Slayer that we took a look at in the not so distant past and features similar styling in many ways but in a bigger form. We also see some of the great features that In Win have invested into their whole range including slides for your drives, tool-less design and some funky lighting to make the front stand out that little bit.

The Dragon Rider keeps with the chainmail armour and solid build quality but does it offer up a wow factor or is it just a bigger immataion of the Dragon Slayer? We find out as we attempt to tame the beat that is the Dragon Rider!

Gigabyte Aivia M8600 Gaming Mouse

Gigabyte Aivia M8600 Gaming Mouse

The Aivia M8600 Wireless Macro Gaming Mouse is absolutely riddled with features. During testing I found the responsiveness the best I have ever experienced. This is the first mouse I had to dial down from max resolution for gaming. The software is clean and easy to use making regular tasks smooth and macro programming as simple as I have seen.

Nexcopy 16-port USB 3.0 Duplicator

Nexcopy 16-port USB 3.0 Duplicator

The Nexcopy SSUSB160PC USB 3.0 Duplicator primarily targets an interesting niche market. It is an industrial tool that can churn out 16 unique flash drive images at a time. This may not sound like a big deal for the average user, but if you have ever spent time doing this one by one, then you know how much time you can save in the long run. This assumes it works as advertised that is. Now, let's find out together if the SSUSB160PC is hyper good or just hype.

Intel Smart Response Technology Explained

Intel Smart Response Technology Explained

Intel Smart Response Technology (SRT) is designed to bridge the middle ground between traditional mechanical hard drives and solid state drives by combining the two. Although high capacity SSDs are quite expensive, low capacity units are much less expensive and achieve similar levels of performance. Intel's SRT lets you use a low capacity SSD to boost the performance of a mechanical drive by using the SSD as a cache.

Jetway NC85-E350-LF Fusion Motherboard

Jetway NC85-E350-LF Fusion Motherboard

AMD Fusion has been something that a lot of the staff at eTeknix have been raving on about, as it shows what the future is to hold in a very small form factor. We've already looked at two Fusion boards in the past which gave fantastic results and fit the market they are suited for very well.

Today sees us look at another Fusion based board that seems simple yet effective design from Jetway. We've looked at server boards from Jetway in the past, mainly based around the Atom platform, and whilst the features don't generally scream out, they usually offer a no frills option to consumers who simply want the main features that the chipset offers with a quiet and low-powered operation.

Does the NC85-E350-LF live up to this and how does it rival against the other Fusion boards that we've seen in the past?

PQI S535 256GB SSD

PQI S535 256GB SSD

At this point there isn't a lot new we can say about the PQI S535 256 GB drive as SF-1200 based SSDs are a dime a dozen right now. Ok, that may draw ire from those that are still waiting on buying an SSD because of the cost but we've done no less than ten reviews now on such drives. PQI is a little conservative in their specifications of 250 MB/s reads and writes as we saw well above that for each in the ATTO benchmark...

Titan Hati CPU Cooler

Titan Hati CPU Cooler

Titan have been “on the scene” for quite a few years now. Before introducing their Fenrir heatsink cooler, people hadn’t really heard of Titan, however that first cooler proved to be very very good! As such, I have high expectations for their latest cooler – the Titan Hati. It is smaller than the Fenrir, but Titan has more experience and research now, so who knows, it could be the next Fenrir?

LEVEL8 Macbook Air Sleeve

LEVEL8 Macbook Air Sleeve

While high-end motherboards, video cars, and SSDs are exciting to test and read about, we sometimes overlook the more prosaic products that we actually use day-to-day. A laptop sleeve doesn't have the geek appeal of a Z68 motherboard or fancy new CPU, but if you're going to carry your laptop around with you, you're going to need a sleeve or case of some sort. There are dozens of companies marketing laptop cases and sleeves, but LEVEL 8 Products thinks they've got a standout product with their MacBook Air sleeves, and Benchmark Reviews takes a little time off from slaving over a hot CPU to see how this product works.

Intel Core i5-2390T Processor

Intel Core i5-2390T Processor

We decided to conduct a sort of express testing and compare Core i5-2390T with Core i3-2100 (similar technically) and Core i5-2300 (similarly named). The question we'll try to answer is whether it's the fastest dual-core CPU, or just a good processor with an inappropriate model name.
